Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. – The Xi Nu Zeta chapter of Midwest City, Oklahoma made history on Saturday, September 15, 2018 with the induction ceremony of the nine young preteens into its youth auxiliary.
The Amicette auxiliary is for girls ages 9 to 13 and the Xi Nu Zeta chapter is the first Zeta chapter in the state to have an Amicette sponsored group. The new Amicette inductees are: Niyia Menifee, Zoe Colbert, Khanaya Battle-Smith, Shalynn Akhigbe, Cereniti Neal, Kierra Talley, Demarria Tryial, Majerle Green, and Maija Moses.
These dynamic girls are eagerly ready to join the women of Xi Nu Zeta in community service, social, and scholastic events. The Xi Nu Zeta chapter also sponsors an adult auxiliary group called the Amicae for women who do not hold a college degree as well as another youth auxiliary group for girls ages 14 to 18 called the Archonettes. These groups help propel the programs and initiatives of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. while giving the auxiliary group members opportunities to enhance their personal and/or professional development via mind, body, and spirit as they work within their various communities to help others.
